move and work the body rhythmically with the gaze, breath and intention
explore multiple vinyasa forms
explore multiple surya namaskara forms
each movement and form will be taught in multiple variations and modifications, from simple to more complex
moving in a smooth and fluid manner gives the yoga practice a meditative quality and this is extremely beneficial to the nervous system and beyond. it’s as if we are taking time out of the day to love on the systems of the body. it’s focused attention on YOU! the practice of the surya namaskaras consistently over a long period of time creates a relationship with your inner states of being. awareness travels through these bodies and tastes of understanding, personal experience and knowledge start bubbling up everywhere. it’s a fun ride.
learning & practicing surya namaskara is great way to learn how to breathe and move dynamically, and direct attention, to focus attention! we go step by step and keep coming back to the breath.
